Esquina Carlos Gardel

Located in Abasto Neighborhood. It features an orchestra with 6 musicians, more than 20 artists on the stage, the only one singer who sings like Carlos Gardel and the outstanding Tango dancer Carlos Copelo. It is a luxurious place and it is said that it is the place where Carlos Gardel sang for the first time when in the old days it was called El Chanta Cuatro.

The cuisine and service are very good. With a menu with more than 30 options to choose from (some more if you choose the Executive or VIP) and San Felipe or Ruttini Wines (depending on the option). Open bar of drinks. Wine, beer, sodas, etc.

 

   

 

 

Señor Tango

Located in Barracas Neighborhood, it is the biggest Tango Show in town (capacity for 1500 guests). The show is kind of Moulin Rouge with outstanding performances of artists and visual effects. Rounding up the show, the performance of Ernesto Franco and his orchestra shines on the stage with the strength and feeling of the traditional Tango, like in the old days when he was part of D'arienzo Orchestra; one of the most famous orchestras with the best Tango rythm in the gold era of the Tango.

La Ventana

Located in the traditional San Telmo Neighborhood. It features a picturesque place and 2 orchestras among them, Juan D'arienzo's typical orchestra; directed by Carlos Lazzari (D'arienzo's concertino player). It offers a good gastronomy, a great Tango Show and also a Gaucho Show and a performance of Evita.

Its international cuisine offers a variety of appetizers, exclusive argentinean barbecue, pastas, homemade breads and a variety of desserts. Drinks included: varietal wines from Norton Vineyard , sodas, mineral water.

 

   

 

 

Tango Porteño

Located on 9 de Julio Ave., in the heart of the downtown district and a few meters from the symbol of our city, The Obelisk. Here, you will be able to get in touch with professional Tango Dancers who will give you a free Tango Class before the Tango Show.
The show revives the Gold Era of The Tango. It features 30 artists on the stage, an orquestra with 12 musicians, 8 couples of professional dancers and 2 singers.
The Gold Era get back to bright in this unique and modern show which recovers the essence of the traditional Tango.

Piazzola Tango

Located in the heart of the downtown district, It features a picturesque place, a theater carefully restored in french style, a luxurious salon and a perfect acoustic that will let you have an unforgettable night. The show is based on “Estaciones Porteñas”, composed by Astor Piazzolla in different moments of his life. The orquestra of 6 musicians is accompanied by 4 couples of professional dancers and 2 singers:  Marili Machado & Ricardo Marin.

El Querandí

Located next to San Telmo Neighborhood. It is one of the traditional Tango Shows, usually chosen by european visitors. Its decoration and ambience will make you feel like if you were at one of the first bars of 1900's. It features a capacity for 120 guests and an excellent gastronomy with a variety of appetizers, main courses and delicious desserts. Drinks included: wines, sodas, mineral water, coffee and tea. The show will let you see part of the Tango history and different Tango dancers that walk by the tables and are dressed up in costumes like in the Belle Epoque of beginning of the XX Century. Located in San Telmo Neighborhood, a very well known Tango neighborhood. The place has got capacity for 120 people and a very good distribution of tables. It was founded by Beba Bidart, an actress and Tango singer; in the 80's and it was declared Touristic Interest by the Government of Buenos Aires. It features and orchestra with 4 musicians, 7 Tango couples of dancers and 3 wonderful singers among them Daniel Olivera. Its ambience and special attention will give you and excellent option where to enjoy one of the most traditional Tango Shows in Buenos Aires.

Located on the corner of San Juan and Boedo, It is a historical and traditional place in the city of Buenos Aires. The bar was constructed in 1927 and it became the symbol of the urban culture in the 40’s. Frequently visited by the musicians who made of the Tango Music the most artistic and representative expression in the city. It features an orquestra with 5 musicians, 3 couples of dancers and 2 singers.

Its gastronomy is based on the traditional dishes of our country.

 

  

 

 

El Viejo Almacén

Located in San Telmo Neighborhood. It is one of the most traditional Tango Houses in Buenos Aires. It features a picturesque place and 1 typical orchestra with 6 musicians, 4 couples of dancers and 2 renowned singers: Virginia Luque & Hugo Marcel. Guests will also enjoy excellent music from the altiplane played by Grupo Antara.
